I love the vibe at Salt Air. Laid back, friendly waiter who never missed a beat. We started with the crab deviled eggs. I was skeptical about the jalapeño chip since I can't take a lot of heat but it provided the right amount without over powering the crab & eggs. It was a fabulous start. My hubby and I split the veal Bolognese and crispy rockfish. The veal was very hearty and delicious. A nice dish for a cold night. As the rockfish was more delicate but my hubby thought if was too sweet for him. Overall a great experience.

This is my final review. I'm gonna summarize the experiences within this restaurant to give an accumulative look at what it is like to dine here First of all the food is immaculate. The chef is outstanding. One meal is better than the other. They don't nickel and dime you like some places on the beach, but instead you are paying for luxury and you are getting luxury at a fair cost . Outrageous delicious food and impeccable drinks . Try the fried shrimp boil and the muscles . They have the best dirty martini I've ever had we come all the way from Brooklyn just for the dirty martini. Now for some cons. They leave the basket of crackers that you get at the beginning right near the bathroom and it's very strange. They're all uncovered and kids can pass by and touch them after going poo poop. They really need to fix that. While service is wonderful the management is a bit odd. The people who introduced themselves as managers are always rude to staff and customers. To the managers you need to understand that customers do not have to spend their money here and it is because of customers that you exist here and make your money so you need to be kind when people are placing reservations and when people are coming to see you, especially when they're coming this far and especially when you're surrounded by great people and you're ruining it for them. I also hope that you pay your staff abundantly because it is because of them that the restaurant is succeeding. While you might not have all the power you do have some when it comes to allocating resources so I need you to relay to upper management how important this is and when you do your work, take it into consideration. Moving on the happy hour is awesome and longer than the other happy hours around town. The bar is cozy and service is up to par. Salt Air is Our best experience on the beach and the funny part is we came in 2020 and it was not good but they really turned things around. Now we come back several times a year from Brooklyn NY and this is our first stop!

A comfortable atmosphere with art and interesting decor on the wall. Our salad was greek and was overly large. Two of us had difficulty eating it all. It was properly dressed, and represented good value. I had the tuna that was cried in dried herbs. The dish was not successful in that the herbs lacked flavor and the tuna was bland. It came with rotini and cherry tomatoes that were ok. Our second dish was halibut with quinoa and asparagus. The halibut had a seared coating that didn't add much. The fish was properly, but not overly interesting. The starch was neutral and the asparagus was an asset. Too many flaws for the best review, but worth a visit.

This place gets booked up fast and no wonder. EXCELLENT. We walked up on a week night and they were able to squeeze in a table for two around 8:30 pm. We had the seafood stew and the shrimp fry. Both fantastic. The service was impeccable. The complimentary cracker and cheese spread was also very nice. Very fast service and our server checked on us multiple times. Very fun atmosphere too with the rustic but contemporary decor.

Enjoyable anniversary dinner. My wife really enjoyed her crab cakes. My mahi mahi special was okay at best. The fish was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor. I never salt my food but had to here. The Parmesan crisps and goat cheese dip was tasty. Service was friendly.

Lovely meal, perfect service and such good food and wines..... our meals were outstanding and a Kermit Lynch wine no less. Some challenges in getting here... first rather hard to get a table (res is a must), parking is on the street and very scarce. It is on the pricier side of Rehoboth restaurants-- but no matter, the meal was so worth it. Especially for a date night or anniversary. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

High marks for food, drinks, and service. We sat at the bar for happy hour on a weekday so it was easy to grab a seat. Not sure why people would wait in line for this place- everything is delicious but nothing super unique. We enjoyed the Michelada clams and wings. The flavor of the clams were amazing but we wish we had more bread to finish the sauce. The smoked wings were so tender and the dip that came with them wasn't the usual ranch or bleu cheese so good to try something different. It's beautiful inside and a nice change to some of the sandy beach bars around town.

"Salt air And the rust on your door I never needed anything more" (Taylor Swift) We were absolutely stunned to see that on a Sunday night during Rehoboth Beach's off-season that Salt +Air was packed solid. When we were greeted by "do you have a reservation?" (we didn't), I felt pretty lucky that they found a table for two for us. We were barely seated when the first of the night's great experiences was experienced when a big basket pf parmesan toast crisps and a ramekin of whipped goat cheese greeted us. I can't tell you how delicious these crispy cheese studded flatbread rectangles and the fluffy cheese dip were. What a fantastic start. Nest up were two cocktails to kick off our mini-vacation. My wife went for the Snowfall Sangria ($13 for red sangria infused with limes & oranges, orange liqueur, peach schnapps, and sprite) while I went for "All I See is Gold" ($16 for kula toasted coconut rum, vino piña pineapple wine, coconut liqueur, and gold dust). Both drinks were excellent!! We had three items from their Snack Bar, Shareables and Chef's Starters choices. We shared a choice that included three words I have never seen strung together in my life. How about you -have you ever seen the words "Blueberry Brussels Sprouts" in your lifetime? Well, you'll see them here, because the menu has an offering of "Blueberry Dijon Brussels" described as flash fried brussels served in a blueberry ginger Dijon sauce for ($11). It was fantastic@ full of flavor and not greasy despite the flash frying. My wife's main was Meatballs and Grits - $16 for "house blend meatballs + feta cheese + tomato jam + castle valley grits + basil spinach pesto". She loved it and a mooched a forkful of one meatball and thought it was excellent. My main was a $16 bowl of Littleneck clams & grilled ciabatta served in a red curry, lemongrass, and pepper broth. I devoured every single clam, every single milliliter pf the broth, and every speck of ciabatta. Our meal of two cocktails and three small plates totaled $72. The food, service, and décor were all top notch. Easy FIVE STARS.

A solid spot for a very good seafood meal right near the beach. Came here with the family one evening and walked in to a very lively and electric atmosphere. At our back corner table, was could see and hear all the goings-ons, which was fun. We all ordered our drinks and settled in with a crispy flatbread basket along with herbed butter for spreading. Folks were hungry, so we got both a deviled egg plate plus a crab and spinach dip for passing around. Both were unique takes on their respective dishes and all seemed to enjoy. For my meal, I went with the shrimp fry platter consisting of several plump, fresh shrimp fried crispy along with seasoned fries and a rough chopped cole slaw and a small brick of cornbread. A very hearty and satisfying meal where no one left hungry and all were satisfied.
